A-Level Education Group joined the Women’s Empowerment Principles as part of the “Expanding Women’s Economic Opportunities in the South Caucasus” programme — jointly run by UN Women and UNDP, with financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). It marked the start of our work in corporate social responsibility.
Our Academic Director, Henrika Ann Suljic, worked closely with UNDP staff to develop the programme’s implementation plan, which our centre then applied to its own operations, marketing, and ongoing development inside Azerbaijani society.
The programme focused on the seven Women’s Empowerment Principles, prioritising improvements in areas where A-Level had network reach — with our staff fully invested in carrying the work forward.
